Peter Jansens

Peter Jansens is board member of Research Center Jülich, responsible for Energy, Climate & Bioeconomy since 2023. His career was shaped by broad experience in academia, industry and innovation. Chemical engineer by training, he was awarded the DECHEMA Prize in 2005, as first not-german scientist, for his pioneering work on sustainable separation technologies. He has held several management positions at multinationals Shell and DSM and was the CEO of Olatein joint venture.
