Patrick Haggard

Patrick Haggard is Foreign Secretary & Vice-President of the British Academy, the UK's national academy for the humanities and social sciences.  In his role, he leads the Academy’s international engagement, research funding and policy programmes, including work related to international R&D policy, knowledge systems strengthening, equitable partnerships, metascience, academic research to policy impact, research evaluation and programme design.  He is also a Professor at University College London, where he researches and teaches sensory and motor processes in the human brain.
