NodeAI augments EBUS‑TBNA, the biopsy that guides lung cancer treatment decisions, to substantially improve diagnostic accuracy so more patients receive the therapy that works for them. Its technology lifts EBUS‑TBNA accuracy from around 60% to 86%, potentially putting about 520,000 additional patients per year onto the correct therapy. Built on seven years of research as a McMaster University spin‑out, NodeAI has completed three clinical trials and expects regulatory approval in Q4 2027, with deployment planned in 100 cancer centres by 2029.
