Nanoflex Robotics is dedicated to building next-generation telerobotic solutions that enhance access to life-saving procedures.
By utilizing advanced magnetic navigation technology and ultra-flexible guidewires, Nanoflex Robotics' Remote Intervention System (RIS) simplifies procedures and provides physicians with greater navigational control over critical interventions. This allows for more precise treatments, potentially enhancing patient care, reducing complications, and improving overall outcomes. The platform also allows for remote operation of its technology, making it highly relevant for medical emergencies where timely intervention is critical. The RIS first target application is to enable remote mechanical thrombectomies in stroke patients, where faster intervention can help patients retain their quality of life. Additionally, the platform is being developed to facilitate other procedures that can be executed comfortably and conveniently by in-person physicians. The Nanoflex Robotics platform has a compact design that allows for seamless integration into clinical settings, making it a versatile robotic assistant tailored for hospital environments. Nanoflex Robotics is based in Zurich, Switzerland and was founded in 2021 by former Medtronic senior executive Matt Curran, distinguished robotics researcher Dr. Christophe Chautems and global robotics expert and ETH Zurich professor Dr. Bradley Nelson.
