Mike Commito

Mike Commito is the Director of Research and Innovation at Cambrian College in Sudbury, Ontario. Mike has been leading Cambrian’s applied research efforts since 2018 and was instrumental in establishing the college’s first Technology Access Centre, the Centre for Smart Mining, in 2019 and the Vale Electric Vehicle Lab in 2024, which was funded by a consortium of industry and government partners, including the Canada Foundation for Innovation. Mike has a PhD in History from McMaster University and, outside of his role at Cambrian, Mike is a five-time author.
