Michael Schönstein

Michael Schönstein is Head of General Digital Policy at the German Federal Chancellery, and co-chair of the OECD Expert Group on AI Futures. Michael previously served as Head of Strategic Foresight and Analysis and the German Federal Labour Ministry, and in various other positions in different German Federal Ministries, the OECD, and the private sector. He holds degrees in Economics, International Relations, and Public Policy from the University of St Andrews and the Hertie School of Governance.
