Martin Plenio, Fedor Jelezko

Martin Plenio was previously a Professor at Imperial College London and joined Ulm University in 2009 as German Alexander von Humboldt Professor. Fedor Jelezko joined Ulm coming from the University of Stuttgart in 2011. At Ulm University they began to collaborate on applications of colour centers in diamond for sensing, hyperpolarisation and medical imaging. Now they are heading the Center for Quantum BioSciences and have co-founded NVision Imaging Technologies in 2016 which aims to commercialise the results of their joint research.
