Maria Rentetzi

Maria Rentetzi is Chair of Science, Technology, and Gender Studies at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU). Trained as a physicist, she holds a PhD in Science and Technology Studies from Virginia Tech, US. An ERC Consolidator Grant recipient, her research explores the history of radioactivity, nuclear sciences, gender, and science diplomacy. She chairs the EU Science Diplomacy Alliance, serves as FAU’s Internationalization Officer, and is an Ambassador for ERC.
