Marco Giustra

Marco Giustra is an Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the University of Milano-Bicocca. His research focuses on nanomedicine, nanobiotechnology, nanomaterials, drug delivery, surface chemistry, phytochemical extraction, and cosmetic formulation. He previously held a postdoctoral fellowship on the synthesis and characterization of polymeric microspheres developed through scalable and sustainable processes, and has collaborated with the internationally renowned company Intercos S.p.a. During his PhD, he investigated multi-branched polymers to enhance the colloidal stability of inorganic nanoparticles and explored their applications in biomedical Raman studies.
