Mali Baum

Mali Baum is a visionary entrepreneur, impact investor, and one of Europe’s most influential voices in startups and innovation. She founded WLOUNGE, a leading Business platform for startups, corporates, and VCs, strongly advocating for female founders, diverse teams, and next-gen talent. In 2023, she was elected to the European Innovation Council (EIC) board at the European Commission, helping shape Europe’s €10.7B innovation fund. She is also a Chairwoman of YSI (Young Social Innovation), a nonprofit empowering underserved youth, and LP at ICBF VC, a Berlin-based venture capital fund focused on Gen Z approach and hands on support for founders. Mali drives diversity, tech excellence, impact investing, and entrepreneurship. Her unique ability to mobilise capital, talent, and purpose has led to over €400 million in investments facilitated through her activities.
