Ludwig Siegele

Ludwig started his career in 1990 as the Paris business correspondent of Die Zeit. In 1995 he moved to California to write for German papers, before joining The Economist as US technology correspondent in 1998. In 2003 he moved to Berlin as Germany correspondent, before relocating to London in 2008 to cover the IT industry. In 2019 he returned to San Francisco as US technology editor and in 2022 moved to Berlin as European business editor. In 2024 he became senior editor for AI initiatives.
