Lucio Milanese is Co-Founder and Chief External Affairs Officer at Proxima Fusion, and a theoretical plasma physicist with a career across three continents. After studying Physics at Imperial College London and conducting research at Caltech and EPFL, he joined MIT’s Nuclear Science and Engineering department to study plasma turbulence for fusion and astrophysics. A Schwarzman Scholar at Tsinghua University (2021–22), his passion lies at the intersection of technology, business, and policy.
