Lilian Knobel

Lilian Knobel is Managing Director of the German foundation Klaus Tschira Stiftung (KTS). She was previously Chairwoman of the Board of the ‘Wissensfabrik - Unternehmen für Deutschland e.V. As a fully qualified lawyer, she has already held various management positions at BASF and the German Chemical Industry Association. She is responsible for education and science communication in the three-member management board of KTS. Established in 1995 by physicist and SAP co-founder Klaus Tschira (1940-2015), the foundation promotes natural science, mathematics and computer science.
