Kerstin Dübner-Gee has been Head of Human Resources Development & Opportunities in the General Administration of the Max Planck Society (MPG) since 2018. Previously, she was Head of the Munich Dual Career Office at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and Coordinator of the TUM Excellence Initiative Institutional Strategy. Most recently, she was responsible for the business area “Offers for Research Managers” at the Fraunhofer Academy. 

She has driven the development of numerous projects and institutional networks in science management, e.g. the Dual Career Network Germany, and has worked for many years as a speaker, trainer or moderator for the German University Association, the German Academic International Network (GAIN) in the USA, universities and research organizations, among others. She has also been active in policy consulting and as a practical advisor for research projects. 

Since 2021, she has been serving on the board of the German Scholars Organization as Deputy Chairwoman. In 2023, she was appointed to the international jury of the Austrian Leadership Excellence Award in Research (LExA).
