Kai Wicker

Kai Wicker is heading the ZEISS Innovation Hub Dresden. Trained as a quantum and optics physicist in Heidelberg and London, he joined ZEISS’ corporate research department in 2013, where he has held various roles since, in technology, innovation, and strategic leadership. Today he is driving long-term, often tech-inspired innovation, a topic which can be difficult for a big corporate. His passion lies in strategic innovation: in creating future scenarios and exploration roadmaps, and in bringing together various stakeholders to align different interests behind a common goal.
