Kadir G. Gulamov

Born on February 17, 1945. Professor in Nuclear Physics (1980), fellow of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan (1989) and the Islamic World Academy of Sciences (1997). 

Director-General of the Scientific-Production Association "Physics-Sun"(1988-1999), Secretary-General of the Academy of Sciences (1991-1999), Chief of the Academy of Armed Forces, Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan(1999-2000), Minister of Defense (2000-2005), and the State Advisor (Science and Education) to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Since 2006, Chief Scientist at the "Physics-Sun". Since 2021 - Chairman of the Council of Physicists of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the member of the Council of Association of Asia-Pacific Physical Societies.

In (1993-1999) served as representative of Uzbekistan in the NATO Scientific Committee, in (1996-1999) a member of the Council of Scientists of the European Union "INTAS" programme, and the member of the ICSU COSTED.
