Jürgen Stuhler

Jürgen Stuhler is head of the business unit at Quantum Technologies at TOPTICA. He coordinates the opticlock project and is involved in three European quantum flagship projects. Before joining TOPTICA in 2006, he was group leader at the University of Stuttgart, with experiments on chromium Bose-Einstein condensation and Rydberg excitation of rubidium. From 2001 to 2003, he set up an atom interferometer to measure the Newtonian gravitational constant at the European Laboratory for Non-linear Spectroscopy in Florence. He studied physics at the University of Constance and obtained his PhD in 2001.
