Her performative and interactive installations take you on a visual journey and explore how to deal with fairness, autonomy, freedom and democracy in a data-driven world. Julia Janssen is an artist, researcher, and public speaker. She is also the ambassador of the Dutch Data Protection Foundation, representing class action lawsuits against X, Adobe and Amazon for illegal data collection practices and mass surveillance. Janssen is a multiple award-winning artist who creates movement on digital rights and data protection. In 2023, Mozilla named her one of the visionaries reshaping the Internet: Rise25.
