José Marquez

José (Pepe) Márquez is an expert in optoelectronic materials and the scientific coordinator of FAIRmat, part of Germany's National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI). With a background in chemistry and a PhD in physics, he focuses on sustainable photovoltaics, advanced characterization techniques, and materials informatics. He co-founded Quantum Yield Berlin and currently leads FAIRmat’s development of NOMAD, a FAIR data platform advancing solid-state physics and materials science.
