Joanna Sadowska

Dr. Joanna Sadowska is a biomedical engineer and materials scientist. She is passionate about developing healthcare solutions to improve the quality of life and care for patients. She holds a postdoctoral research position at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and is an executive MBA candidate at the Hult International Business School. By combining gene therapy, tissue engineering, and biomaterials, Joanna develops implants and therapies that regenerate hard and soft human tissues. She also explores antibiotic-free antimicrobial treatments to counter the growing issue of antimicrobial resistance.
