Jesse Hildebrand has pursued science communication for over a decade. He founded Science Literacy Week, a festival uniting libraries, NGOs, and science centers, which became an official government event. The festival has secured over $2 million in funding, supporting more than 2,000 live science shows. Jesse was the first Canadian producer for Story Collider, helping scientists share personal stories with large audiences. He is now education lead at Exploring by the Seat of Your Pants, delivering over 4,000 free, interactive programs reaching 1.5 million kids across 90+ countries.

Breaking the Wall to Classrooms with Global Connections: Jesse Hildebrand's 2025 Falling Walls Engage Finalist Project is EBTSOYP Broadcasts.

EBTSOYP broadcasts connect classrooms worldwide with leading scientists, explorers, and conservationists through over 40 free, live, interactive programs each month. Since 2014, more than 500 climate-focused sessions have reached thousands of students aged 8–13, engaging them with expert talks and in-depth Q&A. The project provides resources to extend learning, empowering young people with firsthand knowledge of climate challenges and solutions to inspire informed climate action.
