Jenny Hestermann is a historian working on the history of German–Israeli relations and the politics of knowledge. Her current book explores how bilateral academic exchange shaped post-war reconciliation beyond Holocaust memory. She held positions in Frankfurt, Potsdam and Tel Aviv, and teaches Israel and Middle East Studies at the Heidelberg University of Jewish Studies.
