Jan Heine

Jan Heine is the Co-Founder and CEO of Twin Photonics GmbH, a company specializing in integrated quantum light sources, founded in January 2025. He earned his Master of Science degree from Leibniz University Hannover, where he conducted research in nonlinear optics. He is currently finishing a Ph.D centered on the generation and manipulation of quantum states of light using integrated photonics. Jan is now leveraging this deep research expertise to industrialize quantum-light sources by turning frontier quantum optics into reliable, scalable modules ready for volume markets.
