Ishita Bansal

Ishita Bansal is pursuing a PhD at the Centre for Nanoscience and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Science Bangalore. She loves to study the tiniest living organisms and cells by letting them flow in tiny channels to study their electrical, mechanical and morphological properties using microfluidics. She developed a low-cost device capable of recording blur-free images of objects flowing in the channel. Her aim is to convert this system into a fully automated disease diagnostic platform.
