Horst Kreuter

Dr Horst Kreuter is a geologist who studied in Karlsruhe and Austin and earned his doctorate in civil engineering at the University of Karlsruhe. After beginning in geotechnics, he moved into geothermal energy in 1999 and co-founded Germany’s first deep-geothermal project developer, HotRock Group. From 2005 to 2020, he led GeoThermal Engineering. In 2018, he co-founded Vulcan Energy and later headed its German subsidiary. Since 2023, he has served as General Representative of the Vulcan Group.
