H.E. Ron Prosor

Ron Prosor has been the Ambassador of the State of Israel to Germany since Aug. 22, 2022. Previously, he was Director of the Abba Eban Institute for International Diplomacy at the IDC Herzliya. Before that, he served as Israel's 16th Permanent Representative to the UN from 2011 - 2015. During his service in the MFA, he has earned an international reputation as one of Israel's most respected diplomats. From 2004 - 2007, he served as Director General of the MFA. During his tenure as Director General, discreet diplomatic negotiations laid the groundwork for the subsequent Abraham Accords of 2020.
