Hasnat Ayub Khan is a young Pakistani biotechnologist and entrepreneur whose breakthrough began not in a laboratory, but on a small family farm in Pakistan. He holds a Master’s degree in Biotechnology from COMSATS University Islamabad and is the Founder and CEO of Seedling (SMC-Private) Limited, a company developing sustainable solutions in agriculture, waste valorisation and the circular economy. His flagship innovation, EcoSkin, is a bio-based leather alternative grown from agricultural waste and fungal mycelium.
