Halidou Tinto

Pharm D by background, Halidou Tinto research activities is focused on malaria clinical trials. From 1999 to 2000, he worked as Research fellow at the Royal Danish School of Pharmacy in Denmark. After obtaining his PhD in Medical Sciences (University of Antwerp, Belgium), he went back in Burkina Faso, where he created the Clinical Research Unit of Nanoro. So far, the unit has successfully conducted several trials including the GSK RTS,S malaria vaccine and most recently the R21/Matrix-M vaccine. Halidou was listed in 2023 among the Nature’s top 10 individuals. He is author and co-author of 285 publications.
