Gitte Bedford

Gitte Bedford is Vice President at Robert Bosch Venture Capital GmbH, the VC arm of the Bosch group, a leading global supplier of technology and services. Bosch Venture invests in disruptive deep-tech start-ups across Europe, North America, Israel and China. Gitte is responsible for evaluating investment opportunities in a variety of fields, with a particular focus on software, specifically Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Enterprise Software and the Internet of Things, and she serves on boards of portfolio companies. Gitte is an experienced professional with a strong financial background. After starting her career in the treasury department at Robert Bosch, she progressed to positions as Managing Director of Robert Bosch Finance Plc near London, UK, Director Finance for Bosch’s Asia-Pacific operations in Shanghai, China, and joined Bosch’s VC group in 2009. Gitte holds a degree in Business Informatics from HTW Berlin and a master’s degree in Finance from Strathclyde University, Glasgow, U.K.
