George Caputa (they/them) completed a PhD in Molecular Cell Biology from Washington University in St. Louis in 2015, and went on to do a postdoctoral fellowship at the Max Planck for Immunology and Epigenetics. They are currently a Senior Editor at Nature, responsible for handling manuscripts on metabolism, metabolic physiology, cardiovascular biology, and clinical sciences, including advances in clinical AI.
