Georg Stamatelopoulos

Georg Stamatelopoulos was born in Athens in 1970. He received his doctorate in engineering from the TU Braunschweig in 1996. He worked in the manufacturing industry from 1998 to 2010 at AE Energietechnik in Vienna and ALSTOM Power Systems in Stuttgart and Paris. He joined EnBW in July 2010. In August 2014, he was appointed Head of the Generation Business Unit. He was appointed to the EnBW Board of Management effective June 1st, 2021 as Chief Operating Officer and on March 9th, 2024 as CEO.
