Garry Duffy graduated in 2008 with a PhD from the Regenerative Medicine Institute at University of Galway. He is a two-time Fulbright Scholar (Georgia Tech & Harvard Medical School). He is currently Professor of Anatomy and Regenerative Medicine in the School of Medicine at the University of Galway. His current research focuses on drug delivery and cell-based therapies for chronic diseases. In 2021 he won the Science Foundation Ireland Industry Partnership prize as part of their annual awards which recognise key leaders in Irish research.
