Felix Streiter is Managing Director of Carl Zeiss Foundation since 2020. Prior to that, he held various management positions at Alexander von Humboldt Foundation and Mercator Foundation.

He studied law and economics in Bayreuth, Geneva, Freiburg, and Duke University and earned a doctorate with a thesis on science funding. Before entering the foundation landscape, he worked as a lawyer in a leading international law firm.
Felix Streiter sits on the board of several other foundations and co-leads the Science and Research Working Group of the Federal Association of German Foundations.
