Félix Romero Cañizares

Félix Romero is Director of the Biodiversity Foundation under Spain’s Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge. With nearly three decades of experience, he has served as Regional Director for Europe at the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and as Director General for Natural Environment and Biodiversity in Castilla-La Mancha. His work spans nature conservation, ecosystem restoration, sustainable resource management and corporate responsibility. He serves on the board of the Spanish Association of Foundations (AEF). He holds degrees in environmental sciences and forestry engineering, an MBA and postgraduate qualifications in international cooperation and foreign trade.
