Evrim Bunn

Evrim Bunn is a fellow and Senior Advisor at UC San Diego’s Societal Computing and Innovation Lab. Her expertise is to bridge the gap between science and society especially in public safety area. She focuses on operational relevance and the real-world impact of data- and AI-driven innovations. Evrim is also the branch chief of the FEMA Press Office and a senior consultant with the World Bank.  She has a bachelor's degree in journalism and public affairs and a master's in international affairs from American University in Washington D.C. Evrim lives in Washington D.C
