Eva Martha Eckkrammer

Eva Martha Eckkrammer is President of Trier University and Professor of Romance Linguistics and Media Studies. Previously, she was Chair of Romance Linguistics and Media Studies at the University of Mannheim, where she also served as Vice President for Research and Vice President for Infrastructure, Gender Equality, and Early Career Academics.

Her research focuses on Romance linguistics, translation studies, media studies, and contrastive textology. She has held several leadership positions in higher education, including President of the Franco-German University (DFH/UFA), and is committed to international cooperation, academic excellence, and the strategic development of universities.
