Dr. Emma Morrish is an Australian scientist, currently working at the Central Institute for Translational Cancer Research at the Technical University of Munich (TranslaTUM) in Germany. She has a background in molecular biology and biochemistry, having completed her PhD at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute and the University of Melbourne in Australia in 2020. Her research interests are in translational oncology, with a focus on improving our understanding at a genetic and molecular level of how cancer develops, to help design more effective therapies.
I want to improve our understanding of the molecular mechanisms that drive cancer development and progression. I want this, because this knowledge it key to developing better and more effective therapies to treat cancer. I can do this, because I am part of a team of scientists and clinicians who are experts in oncology, immunology and pharmacology, assisted by state-of-the-art new generation technology.
Emma Morrish participated at the Female Science Talents International Spring Gathering 2023 and the Female Science Talents Intensive Track 2022.
