Elias Barbosa

Elias Barbosa is an undergraduate student at the Federal University of Pernambuco and a research assistant at the Keizo Asami Immunopathology Laboratory and FIOCRUZ/PE. Elias was selected to be part of the 2022 Harvard Internship Program of the Harvard Stem Cell Institute and was one of 20 students selected among 490 applicants worldwide. He was a research trainee at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard Stem Cell Institute, and Harvard Medical School. Elias aims to explore immune system and metabolism roles in chronic conditions regeneration by using metabolites and epigenetics for rejuvenation.
