Elaine Chew is Professor of Engineering at King’s College London. Born in Buffalo NY and raised in Singapore, Elaine studied music & computational maths (Stanford) and operations research (MIT). Founder of the Music Theranostics Lab, she researches music based digital therapeutics & precision diagnostics, focussing on heart disorders. Her work is recognised by the ERC, PECASE, NSF CAREER, (Harvard) Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study, Falling Walls Science Breakthrough 2023 (Art & Science).

Elaine Chew was Falling Walls Science Breakthrough of the Year 2023 in the Art & Science category.
