Ekkehard Franzke

Ekkehard Franzke is a Management Consultant and Investor. He is a Strategic Advisor and Limited Partner at Eudemian Ventures, a Post-Seed Fund based in San Francisco and Munich seeking to invest alongside Top Silicon Valley VCs and support portfolio companies to scale across Europe. Ekkehard was a Senior Partner at top-management consulting firms Kearney and Bain & Company. For more than 30 years he has successfully advised financial sponsors (and corporate clients) on Leveraged Buyout and Venture Capital transactions and operations. He supported more than 100 deals with a total value of more than €100 billion and worked for most of the leading global Private Equity Funds. His functional expertise is in Due Diligence (“what is the business plan for the next 3+ years”) and Full Potential Programs (“how to maximize the value of the portfolio company”). His industry focus is mostly in Consumer and Commercial Services, Retail and General Industries. He has been active as a business angel for more than 20 years and invests in selected deep-tech start-ups and digital businesses. Ekkehard studied Economics at the Universities of Regensburg (Germany), Boulder /Colorado (US) and at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration (Austria). He holds a PhD in Economics from Vienna University with highest distinction.
