Daniel W Hook

Daniel Hook serves as CEO of Digital Science.  Daniel is a strong advocate for open research and has spent more than 20 years on developing modern research infrastructure.   He was a co-founder of Symplectic and of the Research on Research Institute (RoRI).  He has helped to incubate products such as Dimensions, Altmetric and figshare at Digital Science and has served on the boards of ORCID, RoRI and RoR. Daniel holds a PhD in Theoretical Physics and continues to publish in his spare time.
