Dagmar Kainmueller

Dagmar Kainmueller is a computer scientist pursuing theoretical advances in AI on large-scale scientific image data. She holds a Professorship for Integrative Imaging Data Sciences at the MDC joint with the Digital Engineering Faculty of the University of Potsdam (Hasso Plattner Institute). Kainmueller is one of the initiators of the Helmholtz Foundation Model Initiative, a grass-roots large-scale AI initiative to turn vast amounts of research data into foundation models for the sciences.
