Claudia Eckert

Claudia Eckert is President of acatech - National Academy of Science and Engineering. Until end September 2026, she was Managing Director of the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied and Integrated Security (AISEC). She is Professor at the Technical University of Munich. Her research covers technologies for system and application security, embedded systems security, and methods to strengthen systems' resilience against attacks. With Co-President Siegfried Russwurm, she heads the Academy. A member since 2010, she has served on the acatech Presidium since 2014.
