Cigdem Issever

Çiğdem İşsever is Professor of Experimental Particle Physics at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and a leading scientist at DESY where she heads the Particle Physics group at the DESY Zeuthen campus. She is member of the ATLAS collaboration at CERN and working on Higgs pair production. Her research bridges experimental particle physics with emerging technologies including quantum technologies. She plays a leading role in the DESY Center for Quantum Technologies and Applications (CQTA). Beyond her research, she is actively committed to interdisciplinary cooperation, science communication, and making particle physics accessible to broader audiences.
