Christina Egelund

Christina Egelund is the Danish Minister for Science, Higher Education and Digital Affairs, a position she has held since June 2026, having previously served as Minister for Higher Education and Science since December 2022. A member of the Moderates party, she has been a driving force in shaping Denmark's research, education and digitalization policy. Before entering government, Egelund built a career in Danish politics spanning several parties, including the Liberal Alliance, where she held senior parliamentary roles.
