Christian Humborg

Christian Humborg is CEO of the Allianz Foundation, where he focuses on supporting open societies, strengthening civil society, and addressing social and environmental challenges.

Prior to this role, he served as Executive Director of Wikimedia Deutschland. He was also Managing Director of Transparency International Deutschland and played a key role at the investigative journalism organization CORRECTIV. Across these positions, his work has centered on transparency, accountability, and the development of democratic and civic structures.
