Beatriz Aira Jacob

Beatriz Aira Jacob is a chemist and PhD candidate in Tropical Medicine at Mahidol University. Her research focuses on developing point-of-care genetic tests for G6PD deficiency and using long-read sequencing to characterise the pharmacogene landscape of the Thai population. A DOST-PCHRD scholar from the Philippines, she has received research awards and contributed to peer-reviewed publications in translational diagnostics.
