Beatrice De Santes

Beatrice De Santes is a final-year PhD student in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of Milano-Bicocca. Her research focused on the phytochemical characterization and pharmacological potential of mangrove species, the sustainable use of natural products, and the development of eco-friendly cosmetic and pharmaceutical formulations. She has also contributed to studies on microplastics in cosmetics, 3D-printed oral drug delivery systems, and microfluidic nanoparticle synthesis. She developed and patented a bio-based cream derived from Ghaf extract with anti-aging properties.
