Beate Kampmann

Beate Kampmann is Einstein Professor of Global Health and directs the Charite Centre for Global Health and the Institut fur Internationale Gesundheit, After over 30 years of working and living in the UK and Africa, she relocated to Berlin in 2023. Over the last 12 years, she divided her working time between London and West Africa, where she led the vaccine research at the MRC Unit-The Gambia. Beate is a Fellow of the Academy of Medical Sciences and the Royal College of Paediatrics, UK.
