Bar Shahar

Bar Shahar is a PhD researcher in the Bioinspired Materials and Nanotechnology Lab at Tel Aviv University, Israel. Her research explores hypoxia-mimetic strategies to enhance collagen biosynthesis for regenerative medicine and tissue engineering. She holds an MSc and BSc in neuroscience with honours and is dedicated to science teaching and mentorship. She is the 2026 Falling Walls Lab Israel winner and will represent Israel at the Falling Walls Lab Global Finale 2026.
